An Exciting Event That Happened Over My Summer

Over the Summer me and my friend Parker went to his camp in Grand Isle, Louisiana. When we got there we found out that the camps boat was being sent in for maintenance so we fished from the bank the whole time we were there. We fished off his dock for two hours and didn't catch anything. All of a sudden Parker hooked into this giant fish and we couldn't tell what it was. The fish was pulling drag and we watched as the line zig-zagged in the water as the fish shook it's head.          The fight lasted for about two minutes and then the tired fish was rising up from the deep water. The fishes scales began to shimmer bronze as the light hit them. It was a thirty-five inch redfish and it glided through the water, right into the net. The sun was setting and we were both tired from the long car ride. We filleted the fish, fired him, and ate him for dinner.

My Second Summer Reading Choice Book

For my second Summer choice reading book The Fever Code by James Dashner. It is the prequel to the Maze Runner series and I have already read all the other books so I decided to read this one too. The book starts out with a boy being stolen from his family by an organization because he is one of the special people who are immune to a disease that broke out recently.      The original first book starts around ten years after the beginning of The Fever Code. What I liked most about the book was how you understood more about the series as you read on. It also met my expectations as being another action packed book like the others. I loved this book and I hope James Dashner finds a way to continue this series.

Matthew Bickham- Code Name verity High School- My Thoughts and Goals
My name is Ethan Hook and my goals for this year in Blogger.com are to maintain two paragraphs every blog. My expectations are that we are going to receive two blog assignments every week. My only concerns is that i might receive a topic that I might have trouble writing about for two paragraphs.
The first summer reading book that I got to pick was called Nighthawk by Clive Cussler. I picked this book because I read the book and it look very interesting. In this book it is up to two people to save the world and they are racing against time. This book kept me interested and I couldn't put it down because I always had to know what happened next. What I liked most about the book is how it kept me on my toes the whole time.      Clive Cussler makes many other great books like this one. I read about some of the others when I was buying this book and Nighthawk sounded the best. The book does a good job of explaining what is happening around the main character. The vocabulary selection was good as well.  I loved this book and I recommend it to anyone who likes action.
